This is a POP-UP installation built adjacent to the completed BONELESS Beijing store. Considering the temporary nature of a pop-up shop, we utilized easily installable, environmentally friendly, and recyclable discarded printing paper rolls as basic components. Due to their structural similarities to traditional wooden structures, we used paper rolls of different sizes to construct an independent structure in the mall's public space, employing the construction logic of traditional large wooden structures—creating a house in HOUSE. Unexpectedly, this traditional construction logic also brought about an unexpected formal expression—a small "temple" with a temple-like memorial quality.

Additionally, in our design, the paper rolls not only exist as beams and columns but also appear in the form of surfaces through the combination of small-diameter straight tubes—forming ceilings and walls. Furthermore, the circular cross-section of the paper rolls, as a repeated pattern, constitutes some smaller structures that can be interpreted as "surfaces"—such as the cash register, the logo "B," and the background wall composed of mixed rice paper. In summary, in this experimental project, we explored the characteristics of lines and surfaces exhibited when using paper rolls as building components, and based on the material itself, constructed a space rich in commemorative qualities.
